To provide onsite training of the Certified Tea Craftsman™ Level 1 & 2 at your facility,

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

One week prior to training, supplies shipped to delegate

  • Instructor will fly out on a Monday to set the training room provided 
  • Level 1 will be conducted on Tuesday.
  • Level 2 will be conducted on Wednesday and Thursday
  • Clean up will take place at the end of each days’ training
  • Instructor to depart Friday with arranged return of items, as noted below


ROOM REQUIREMENTS

  • Conference/training room with table and chairs for students (water/spill acceptable or cafeteria trays)
  • TV or projector for presentation (note: we can supply projector, if needed)
  • Access to restrooms, sink / dishwasher for cleanup

COMPANY TO SUPPLY

5-gallon hot water boiler or multiple hot water kettles

  • Filtered water source
  • 1-2 x 5-gallon buckets for wet waste (infused tea leaves and brewed tea), 1-2 x trash bins for dry waste, Paper Towels, Gram scales x 1 per pair of attendees (can supply as needed)
  • Water Pitchers x 2 (can supply as needed)
  • Professional Tea Cupping Sets x 2 per person, Small Mesh Tea Strainer x 2 per person with Cupping Spoon x 1 per person (can supply as needed)
  • Lunch each training day for attendees and instructor
  • Bottled water and snack foods
  • Travel expenses for one instructor to include: 
    • Round trip airline via Orlando
    • Lodging for 4 nights (Hampton Inn or equivalent) 
    • Ground transport (parking, tolls, uber, taxi, etc.). 
    • Invoice with receipts will be sent with net 10-day terms following the completion of training
    • Please note, certificates held until travel reimbursed.
  •  No max capacity for class, however,  with more than 12 attendees, a support staff required. Staffer's travel expenses will be invoiced as of the instructor; however, flight departs from a different U.S. city.
  • Minimum of four students required 
  • Prices valid until 12/31/2020 and subject to change without notice until booked.

This is a tea training two-day program to include the one-day training of Level One. We will cup and evaluate several teas from each country and discuss their use. At the end of the day we will review teas from Africa and South America which play a role in tea consumed in the United States.

This is a tea training two-day program to include the one-day training of Level One. We will cup and evaluate several teas from each country and discuss their use. At the end of the day we will review teas from Africa and South America which play a role in tea consumed in the United States. 


In this tea training, you will learn:

  • Teas of Traditional Origin - China, Taiwan, Japan, India, & Sri Lanka
  • Teas that are Often Found in US Teas from Africa and South America


The second day will be a review and tea tasting of the most common herbal / tisane “teas” sold in the US, as well as botanicals used in custom blends. We'll discuss how tea is scented and differs from flavored. We'll review how to properly evaluate and apply flavors to teas. Finally, we'll learn proper blending methodology for creating custom blended teas. 


In this tea training, you will learn:

  • Herbal / tisane teas vs tea
  • What botanicals are used in the creation of custom teas
  • How scented teas are made and differ from flavored teas
  • Regulatory compliance requirements
  • Creating and Blending Teas 


**Level 1 is a prerequisite to Level 2.**
